That’s me!

What did you do this past week?

This past week I wrapped up the Collatz project. I was able to complete the project fairly simply as I have completed it before in Object Oriented Programming. However, it was definitely slightly different given that this time we had to code in Python and not in C++.

What’s in your way?

Right now, there is nothing in my way! I was able to complete the Collatz project on time and have been keeping up with the lectures. Hopefully the next web project will be as easy as the Collatz project!

What will you do next week?

Next week, I will continue to keep track of the lecture notes and try to improve my understanding of the lecture material. I will also go over React and other JavaScript frameworks in preparation for the upcoming web project.

If you read it, what did you think of the Pair Programming? (this question will vary, week to week)

I was already familiar with the Pair Programming reading from taking Object Oriented Programming last semester but it was definitely worth reading a second time! I believe that Pair Programming is extremely important given the fact that it’s a much quicker and better way to develop technologies.

What was your experience of types? (this question will vary, week to week)

I am fairly familiar with types in python so this was a great review for me. However, some of the concepts with the difference between lists and tuples were fairly new to me so it was great to go over these these things once again in class.

What made you happy this week?

This week, the cold weather cheered me up. While I know most people are not a fan of cold weather, I particularly enjoy it. I will definitely be even more happy if it does snow next week!

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My tip-of-the-week this week would be Project Euler! Project Euler is a site which consists of multiple programming problems to solve! It is mainly geared for people interested in math. Make sure to check it out!
